Terms of Service

These Terms of Service of the MeerGuard VPN (hereinafter — the "Agreement") constitute a public offer in accordance with Article 437 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation. The Agreement governs the use of all channels of the Service: the website meerguard.app, the Telegram bot telegram.me/meerguardbot, and the mobile application for iOS. Acceptance of the offer occurs upon payment for a subscription (including the trial period) or continued use of the Service. Use of the Service signifies full and unconditional consent to all terms of this Agreement.

1. General Provisions

These Terms of Service govern the provision and use of the MeerGuard VPN service (hereinafter — the "Service"). The Service is provided on a paid basis by the rights holder "MeerGuard VPN" (hereinafter — the "Licensor"). By using the Service, you agree to these terms.

2. Service Description

MeerGuard VPN provides virtual private network (VPN) services for protecting internet connections and ensuring online privacy. The Service provides configurations and data for VPN connection; actual VPN traffic is delivered by third-party nodes. Performance, speed, and stability depend on third-party hosting and internet providers. Some features may be temporarily unavailable (testing, maintenance, regional restrictions).

3. Subscription and Payment

The Service is provided by subscription for a selected term. The User pays for the period — 1, 3, or 12 months — in advance; access remains valid until the end of the paid term. Every subscription term includes three devices connected simultaneously. Current prices are displayed in the client applications (Telegram bot, website dashboard, iOS app) before payment and, as of the publication of this version, are as follows:

  • Subscription price: 1 month — 298 ₽, 3 months — 745 ₽, 12 months — 2399 ₽
  • Every subscription term includes 3 devices connected to the account simultaneously
  • Each device beyond those included is paid for separately at 100 ₽ per month, multiplied by the subscription term: one additional device for 3 months — 300 ₽, for 12 months — 1200 ₽
  • Additional devices are valid until the end of the current paid period and are renewed together with the subscription; their maximum number is limited and displayed in the client applications
  • Terms for purchases via the App Store (iOS) are displayed in the app on the payment screen; prices may differ between channels due to platform commissions

The Licensor reserves the right to change prices unilaterally; a price change does not affect an already paid period, and the current price is always displayed in the client applications before payment. A trial period is provided once per account: 3 days of full access for 1 ₽, with no auto-renewal — when the trial ends, access stops and no repeat charges are made.

4. Usage Rules

When using the Service, you are prohibited from:

  • Using the Service for unlawful activities
  • Using VPN configurations for DDoS attacks, hacking, distribution of malware
  • Distributing prohibited materials through the servers
  • Using torrent clients (uTorrent, Zona, etc.) on PC and Mac
  • Sharing your account access with third parties
  • Reselling or distributing the configurations you received
  • Creating excessive load on the servers or disrupting the Service
  • Violating the laws of your country of residence while using the VPN

The User is responsible for their online activity. In case of rule violations, the Licensor may restrict or terminate access to the Service.

5. Payment and Refunds

Subscription payment is available via the methods displayed in the respective channel (website, Telegram) before payment. In the iOS application, a subscription is purchased exclusively through Apple In-App Purchase and managed by Apple: payment is charged to your Apple ID; the subscription renews automatically unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the period; management and cancellation — "Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions". The payment methods available on the website and in Telegram are not payment methods within the iOS application. Refunds are issued upon request to support for the paid subscription period: if the Service did not suit you — within 3 (three) days of payment, as well as in cases where auto-renewal was not turned off by the User in time. The refund procedure depends on the payment method and the rules of the respective payment service; certain payment methods that are irreversible by nature are non-refundable. Refunds for App Store (iOS) purchases are processed directly by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com under Apple's policies; the Licensor has no technical ability to refund such funds on its own. Apple's standard end-user license agreement (Apple Standard EULA) also applies to App Store purchases: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/ — in case of any conflict with this Agreement, mandatory provisions of the Apple EULA prevail. In case of User violations of usage rules, refunds are not issued.

6. Payment Methods and Auto-Renewal

A subscription may be paid for once or renewed automatically, depending on the selected method available in the respective channel:

  • One-time payment — the subscription is paid for the selected term; when it ends, access stops unless the subscription is renewed
  • Auto-renewal — with the User's consent, the price of the next equivalent period is charged to the saved payment method on the end date of the current period or shortly before it
  • Auto-renewal can be turned off at any time in the Telegram bot, the website dashboard, or the app; turning it off does not end the already paid period — access remains until it expires
  • Card data is not stored by the Licensor — it is processed only by the payment service; for subscriptions set up via external services (App Store, Tribute), auto-renewal is governed by those services' rules and is cancelled in their interface, not by the Licensor
  • Transitional provision: funds previously credited to the personal account (wallet) under the former billing model are converted into subscription days; the result of the conversion is displayed in the client applications

7. Devices

A subscription includes a fixed number of simultaneously connected devices; this number can be increased for an additional fee:

  • Every subscription term includes three devices connected to one account simultaneously
  • Additional devices beyond those included are purchased separately, remain valid until the end of the current paid period, and are renewed together with the subscription
  • Device management (view and unbind) is available in the Telegram bot, the website dashboard, and the iOS app; unbinding a device frees up a slot for another one
  • A technical limit applies to simultaneous connections and to the maximum number of additional devices; current values are displayed in the client applications
  • Sharing access with third parties is not permitted (Section 4 of this Agreement); if signs of account sharing are detected, the Licensor may restrict access to the Service

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". The Licensor does not guarantee uninterrupted operation of the Service and is not liable for: operation of third-party VPN nodes; quality of the User's internet connection; operation of payment systems; consequences of the User's actions when using the Service.

9. Changes to Terms

The Licensor reserves the right to modify these Terms. The current version of the Agreement is published on this page — its publication constitutes proper notification to Users. The Licensor may discontinue the Service by giving at least 14 (fourteen) days notice.

10. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Russian Federation. Disputes are resolved through pre-trial claim procedures. Invalidity of individual clauses does not affect the validity of the Agreement as a whole.
