Terms of Service

Last updated: June 30, 2026

These Terms of Service of the MeerGuard VPN (hereinafter — the "Agreement") constitute a public offer in accordance with Article 437 of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation. The Agreement governs the use of all channels of the Service: the website meerguard.app, the Telegram bot t.me/meerguardbot, and the mobile application for iOS. Acceptance of the offer occurs upon payment for a subscription or continued use of the Service. Use of the Service signifies full and unconditional consent to all terms of this Agreement.

1. General Provisions

These Terms of Service govern the provision and use of the MeerGuard VPN service (hereinafter — the "Service"). The Service is provided on a paid basis by the rights holder "MeerGuard VPN" (hereinafter — the "Licensor"). By using the Service, you agree to these terms.

2. Service Description

MeerGuard VPN provides virtual private network (VPN) services for protecting internet connections and ensuring online privacy. The Service provides configurations and data for VPN connection; actual VPN traffic is delivered by third-party nodes. Performance, speed, and stability depend on third-party hosting and internet providers. Some features may be temporarily unavailable (testing, maintenance, regional restrictions).

3. Plans and Subscriptions

Subscription pricing and available plans depend on the channel of purchase:

  • Telegram bot and website — plans and any trial period are displayed immediately before payment and in the "My Subscription" section
  • App Store (iOS application) — plans and conditions are displayed directly in the app on the subscription screen; the App Store channel does not provide a trial period
  • Prices may differ between channels due to platform commissions (in particular, the Apple App Store commission)

If a trial period is available in the selected channel, it is part of the subscription model: after it ends, a paid subscription is automatically activated at the plan shown during enrollment, unless auto-renewal is disabled by the user. All trial terms (duration, cost, plan after expiration) are shown to the user before enrollment. Auto-renewal can be disabled: in the Telegram bot — under "My Subscription"; in the iOS app — via the system "Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions". The Licensor reserves the right to change the set of plans and prices unilaterally.

4. Usage Rules

When using the Service, you are prohibited from:

  • Using the Service for unlawful activities
  • Using VPN configurations for DDoS attacks, hacking, distribution of malware
  • Distributing prohibited materials through the servers
  • Using torrent clients (uTorrent, Zona, etc.) on PC and Mac
  • Sharing your account access with third parties
  • Reselling or distributing the configurations you received
  • Creating excessive load on the servers or disrupting the Service
  • Violating the laws of your country of residence while using the VPN

The User is responsible for their online activity. In case of rule violations, the Licensor may restrict or terminate access to the Service.

5. Payment and Refunds

Payment is processed through the website, via the Telegram bot, or through the App Store (iOS application). Refund terms depend on the channel of purchase. Purchases via the website and Telegram bot: refunds are available within 3 (three) calendar days from the date of payment if the Service did not meet the User's expectations. To request a refund, please contact our support before this period expires. After 3 (three) days, payments are non-refundable, as access to the Service is considered fully provided. In case of User violations of usage rules, refunds are not issued. Purchases via the App Store (iOS): refunds are processed directly by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com under Apple's policies. The Licensor has no technical ability to refund App Store purchases on its own. Apple's standard end-user license agreement (Apple Standard EULA) also applies to such purchases: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/ — in case of any conflict with this Agreement, mandatory provisions of the Apple EULA prevail.

6. Recurring Payments (Auto-Renewal)

The subscription is automatic (recurring) when auto-renewal is enabled. Recurring payment terms:

  • Charges follow the selected plan and billing period as shown at the time of enrollment and in "My Subscription"
  • For purchases via the website and Telegram bot, card data is not stored by the Licensor — it is processed only by the payment system
  • For purchases via the App Store (iOS), auto-renewal is managed by Apple: payment is charged to your Apple ID, billing occurs within 24 hours before the end of the current period, and cancellation must be made at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
  • Auto-renewal can be disabled: in the Telegram bot — under "My Subscription"; in the iOS app — via the system "Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions" (managed by Apple)
  • For website/bot purchases, the last recurring payment may be refunded upon contacting support. For App Store purchases, refunds are processed directly by Apple

7. Device Limit and Additional Connections

Each subscription plan includes the ability to use VPN on 3 devices simultaneously. Additional devices can be added beyond this limit:

  • The price per additional device is shown at the time of purchase and in "My Subscription"
  • The fee is added to your main subscription cost and charged in a single payment at the next renewal
  • The additional device price is fixed only when subscription auto-renewal is enabled
  • Device management (view and disconnect) is available in the Telegram bot ("My Subscription" → "Devices") and in the iOS app ("Settings" → "My Devices")
  • If the device limit is exceeded without purchasing additional slots, the service will notify the user; if no action is taken within 24 hours, excess devices are automatically disconnected starting from the earliest connections

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". The Licensor does not guarantee uninterrupted operation of the Service and is not liable for: operation of third-party VPN nodes; quality of the User's internet connection; operation of payment systems; consequences of the User's actions when using the Service.

9. Changes to Terms

The Licensor reserves the right to modify these Terms. The current version of the Agreement is published on this page — its publication constitutes proper notification to Users. The Licensor may discontinue the Service by giving at least 14 (fourteen) days notice.

10. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Russian Federation. Disputes are resolved through pre-trial claim procedures. Invalidity of individual clauses does not affect the validity of the Agreement as a whole.
